Value for All Stakeholders
The aim of this process is to have a practical refe-
rence making the complete life cycle management
of a plant easier for all stakeholders:
• owners and operators that set the standards
and feature requirements for their plant;
• design engineers who have to carry a proper
materials selection and definition of the piping
classes;
• vendor and suppliers providing materials data;

• software provider who has to build up, offer,
and maintain platform environment, which
works as a real meeting point among sta-
keholders;
• installation Contractors who execute the job
at site based on a virtually available “as built”
specification;
• again the Owners who have to ensure relia-
ble performance and highest efficiency of the
plant for maximizing Return on Asset.
The time spent on defining the frame, the accuracy
of provided material data, the valuable contribution
of all stakeholders to pipe classes generation and
project execution, are the best preconditions ensu-
ring success in this first unique experience.
In addition, it is easy to recognize that additional
value has gained from this initiative:
• new benchmark has created in front of both:
the Companies belonging to Intergraph Part-
ner Community, and the whole Process Plant
Industry on global basis;
• a more engineered approach has established
to design plastic piping systems and relevant
integrated asset management through high-
