Il settore della progettazione impiantistica, che da sempre persegue ottimizzazioni ed implementa miglioramenti continui nella
esecuzione dei propri processi di business è uno dei meglio attrezzati a valutare ed implementare le opportunità che le nuove
tecnologie digitali offrono, a patto che il proprio management ne acquisisca la consapevolezza, definisca il disegno complessivo
e le priorità di intervento. Questo articolo affronta il tema della rivoluzione prodotta dall’avvento della tecnologia digitale, che sta
ormai influenzando l’intero universo del mondo del lavoro, su scala globale. Partendo da una sintetica illustrazione delle “spinte
tecnologiche” che hanno reso possibile l’avvio dei processi di digitalizzazione, l’articolo cita alcuni “driver” che spingono tale
