User Meeting 2017

proves a huge

success!

This year’s AVEVA World Italy User Meeting was held

on October 5 at EDIT Milano, Milano

A great success with 170 AVEVA customer
representatives! One of the main objectives of the
event was to share insight with our customers on
the latest technology AVEVA is developing. This was
delivered through various presentations, as well as
through less formal discussions in the networking bre-
aks. Barbara Magaraggia, Sales Manager Italy & Croa-
tia and Martin Yeomans, EVP European Sales, opened
the event with a warm welcome to our customers. This
was then followed
by a series of AVEVA
presentations and
live demonstrations.
Andrea Scaringi and
Angelo Crippa gave
an update on pro-
ducts.
This was followed
by a session with
AVEVA HoloLens.
Roberto Carlini sho-
wed this impressive
augmented and Vir-
tual reality techno-
logy will change the
way we create and
use 3D in a digital
world. The AVEVA
HoloDemo has been
designed to give the
industry an insight into how immersive visualisation
technology such as augmented and Virtual Reality
headsets will change the way industrial projects are
executed and managed throughout the lifecycle. It ta-
kes users on a journey from the augmented Reality
drawing board to 3D and into full scale Virtual Reality.
We then moved on to presentations from: Andrea
Crovato on AVEVA ERM, Thierry Vermeersch and
