Il mercato del settore Impiantistico 2017.

Samsung Engineering (Oil&Gas, Industria, Ecologia)
Il Gruppo sud coreano Samsung Eng. opera come EPC in diversi settori industriali:
• Idrocarburi (Oil&Gas e Petrolchimica)
• Energia
• Industria (Farmaceutica, Metallurgia, Siderurgia, Pneumatici, IT)
• Ambiente (intero ciclo dell’acqua: Acquedotti, Trattamento dell’acqua dolce e produzio-
ne di acqua ultrapura, Trattamento delle acque reflue, Riutilizzo dell’acqua)
Il 2017, rispetto al 2016, si è chiuso tra ombre e luci:
• i ricavi totali (5.500 miliardi di Won nel 2017) sono scesi di circa il 21% con una più accentuata
diminuzione sul segmento degli idrocarburi (-38%) rispetto a tutti gli altri segmenti (-8%)
• il risultato operativo è diminuito del 33%
• i nuovi ordini sono cresciuti complessivamente di circa l’80% con una crescita di più di 6
volte della componente degli idrocarburi rispetto a quella degli altri segmenti (+18%)
Le aspettative per il 2018 sono moderatamente positive.

Tecnicas Reunidas (Upstream, Petrolchimica, Energia elettrica)
Tecnicas Reunidas (TR) è un EPC spagnolo presente sul mercato internazionale in vari seg-
menti industriali.
Il Gruppo è il leader in Spagna, è uno fra i maggiori competitor in Europa nell’Oil&Gas ed è
uno dei leader mondiali nel settore della raffinazione. I settori di attività sono:
• Oil&Gas (85% dei ricavi totali del 2017)
• Power (13%)
• Infrastructure and Industry (2%)

Nel 2017 (ricavi totali per 5,1 miliardi di euro) il Gruppo TR ha conseguito un aumento dei ricavi
complessivi del 6% rispetto al 2016 soprattutto grazie al contributo del settore Power salito
di quasi il 73%.
Juan Lladó, CEO di Técnicas Reunidas, ha commentato così l’esercizio trascorso:
“2017 was challenging for Técnicas Reunidas. We started the year with high expectations, as a
result of the award of important projects and a successful bidding strategy in the Middle East.
In the second half of the year, we faced the cancellation of the projects in Latin America and
the delay in the final signature and start of the jobs in the Middle East.
As a result, Técnicas Reunidas had to take the strategic decision to maintain intact the core
Engineering and Project Management capabilities to be ready for the start of the projects, even if it
had an impact on company margins coming from the underutilization of its workforce.
I believe this decision was proven right. We are starting the year with a backlog of more than
euro 10 billion and the capacity to launch projects, worth almost USD 6 billion, during the first
and second quarter of the year.
In the first two months of 2018, we are seeing higher activity in the pipeline and receiving
more invitations to bid than in previous years, new opportunities that are well diversified
by industries and regions. With these market indicators and the signature and start of the
recently awarded projects, we can face the near future with optimism”
