a safety manner, considering the dimensions
and weight of the jacket modules and the fact
that barge voyages were planned for the sea
transport
- How to avoid delays due to wind and bad
weather conditions
- How to handle execute the load out activity
onto a barge, able to take the load of No. 4 ja-
ckets positioned in a row. Also for this project
Fagioli came up with the idea to build a tailor
made frame structure (different from the Indone-
sian project) to answer to the above questions.
Fagioli found the solution with a retractable edge
main beams with movable stoppers. This solu-
tion was the winner one: it allowed the flexibil-
