L’impiego di nuove ed avanzate pratiche di progettazione degli edifici, dalle strutture difficilmente accessibili, e di nuovi materiali
impiegati nella costruzione degli stessi richiede lo studio del sistema strutturale in caso di incendio, la verifica delle condizioni di
stabilità, tenuta e isolamento termico, e delle possibili anomalie e vulnerabilità.
Purtroppo, i rischi incendio si diversificano in modo proporzionale, e sono necessarie nuove misure di protezione antincendio e
metodi alternativi.
Non sempre i tradizionali dispositivi si rivelano idonei: la squadra antincendio deve poter intervenire rapidamente e in modo
sicuro per il contenimento degli incendi.
