energy.

This project is part of a larger the expansion
scheme launched by the Indonesian government
and named Refi nery Development Master Plan
(RDMP). This USD 17-billion development plan
aims at increasing Indonesia’s refi ning capacity by
150% through the revamping and upgrading of fi ve
refi neries in the country.

The USD 4-billion Balikpapan RDMP V project will
increase the refi nery’s crude processing capacity
by 100 thousand barrels per day (bpd), bringing
the current capacity of 260 thousand bpd to 360
thousand bpd.
In addition, the overhaul project will include the
