Luca Basini
Luca Basini pursued its professional activities in academic and industrial contexts focusing fundamental discoveries
and technology developments. Eni S.p.A. has been the reference organization from 1985 to Dec 2020. Among the
many interactions with academic and industrial environment, it is mentioned those of the Yale University (USA) and
the National Institute of Material Science (JP) in which it has been invited for scholarship periods and the Haldor
Topsoe A/S framework in which he participated to the development of catalysts and technology solutions. Since
Jan. 2021 to now he has been employed as technology advisor for initiatives concerning the organisation of the R&D
environments and the technology developments concerning the sustainability of the steel productions, the methane
pyrolysis with liquid metals, the development of process solutions integrating electrical reactors, the removal and
usage of carbon dioxide. He also authored and published more than 60 referred scientifi c, technical and patent
documents and lectured in academic and industrial contexts.
Fabio Furesi
Fabio Furesi graduated in Energy Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano in 2013. After a brief period as associate
researcher at the same university in FP7 and Horizon 2020 projects, Fabio was hired by Wood PLC (formerly Foster
Wheeler) as process engineer. Here he took part in several projects at every stage of development (EPC, FEED, Basic
Design and Feasibility Studies) ranging through power plants, refi neries, petrochemical and pharmaceutical.
In 2018 Fabio moved to Rosetti Marino’s offi ce in the Republic of Congo as process reference in local offi ce.
Back to Milan offi ce in late 2019, Fabio was involved in several research and development programs within Rosetti
Marino, as well as projects in energy transition.
Cesario Mondelli
Cesario Mondelli has a Master of Science in Mechanical and Naval Engineering from the University of Naples. He
has a very extensive experience in manufacturing Offshore Platforms and pressure vessels for the energy industry.
He joined the Rosetti Marino Group in 1998 as director of the shipbuilding business Unit for tugs, offshore service
vessels, Platform Supply Vessel (PSV), Anchor Handling Tug (AHT), Anchor Handling Tug and Services (AHTS) and
Ferries.
Currently is the director of the shipbuilding Research and Development Directorate of Rosetti Marino.
Nicola Mondelli
Nicola Mondelli has a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Naples in 1983. He has a
strong experience in process design, business development and company management gained in the most reputed
Italian EPC Contractors for the Energy Industry. He joined the Rosetti Marino Group in 2013 as Director of Engineer-
ing and he currently holds the position of Director of Research and Technology Development of the Company.
